7TH ANNUAL NEWBERRY EVENT

FRI-SUN - The 2019 Newberry Event Music & Arts Festival/Charity Fundraiser to Defeat MS is an outdoor, ticketed, 3-day festival well-known as a good time for a good cause. Hosting everything from rock, blues, jazz, reggae, folk, bluegrass and more.


BALLOONS OVER BEND FESTIVAL

FRI-SUN – This Children’s festival is a full weekend of balloon adorned skies with balloon launches, night glows, and a kid’s race.


AMERICAN INDIAN ARTIST SHOW

FRI-SUN – Join Raven Makes Gallery in welcoming three outstanding Great Basin Native artists: Melissa Melero Moose, contemporary mixed media painter, Joey Allen, traditional duck decoy maker and Tia Flores, gourd artist.

 

JEFFERSON COUNTY FAIR

THROUGH SUN – Drive to Madras for Central Oregon’s best free fair! Enjoy carnival food, games, attractions, and more. Bring the family and enjoy a concert each night, or watch the rodeo.    

 

KAYAKING, PADDLEBOARDING, CANOEING

THROUGH AUG 30 – Head to the Deschutes River for a tour of Tumalo Creek on a rented device. View the crystal blue waters in the middle of the Deschutes National Forest.

 

RHYTHM & BLUES FESTIVAL

FRI-SAT – Sisters Rhythm & Brews Festival is a two day music festival with local brews, food vendors, and more in downtown Sisters.

 

HIGH DESERT CLASSIC II

THROUGH SUN – The High Desert Classics celebrates the athleticism of horses with six show rings, vendor booths, and food trucks.

 

SUBARU OUTSIDE GAMES

THROUGH SUN – Head to the shade of the mountains for four days of live music, local brews, and trails at Mt Bachelor, Elk Lake, and the Deschutes River.


SUPs & PUPs 2019 at Elk Lake Resort Marina

SUN – JD Platt & the K9 Kings, SUP and PUP races, BBQ, Beer and a whole lot more all on July 28th! 100% of proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Central Oregon.

 

MUSIC ON THE WATER

SAT – Elk Lake Resort hosts a summer music series sponsored by Boneyard Beer and Crater Lake Spirits. Float on the lake or sit in front of the stage and enjoy live music.


SUNSET DINNERS 

THROUGH SEPT 7 – Mt. Bachelor hosts stunning views for a romantic sunset dinner. Enjoy an eight-course meal with friends or family and end your night with a moonlight chairlift ride down the Mountain.


SATURDAY MARKET

ONGOING – Browse local artists and produce at the Saturday Market, running through Labor Day.

 

BIKE PARK OPENING

ONGOING – The Mt. Bachelor Bike Park offers 13 miles of downhill trails and different options for various skill levels.    

 

LIVE MUSIC

FRI - Zepparella @ 10pm, Volcanic Theatre for more info.

ONGOING – The Volcanic Theatre and Pub hosts live music that’ll move you. Check their calendar for live theatre and movies as well!
