Mamma Mia

FRI-SUN - Tower Theater - A mother, a daughter, 3 possible dads, and a trip down the aisle you’ll never forget. Told through the hits songs of pop group ABBA, this all-local musical sensation will turn you into a dancing queen! Produced by Thoroughly Modern Productions, directed by David Dacosta, choreography by Dakota Weeda, and musical direction by Angelina Anello- Dennee.

Maragas Grape Stomp

SAT- – Terrebonne - An old-world tradition of hand (er, foot) crushing grapes has become an annual staple at Terrebonne’s Maragas Winery. This year’s grape stomp will include prizes for most artistic grape stomping performance and best-dressed stomper. In addition to the grape smashing, there will be live music, food and, of course, wine tasting. $45 Early Bird. Kids 16 and under free with adult.

CampOut for Public Lands

SAT-SUN – Join REI and beer sponsor 10 Barrel for a night under the stars at the Newberry Group Camp at Paulina Lake this weekend. In addition to providing beer, 10 Barrel will by lending the talents of its culinary team for a lakeside feast. Stick around for a concert under the stars and a morning yoga session followed by a hot breakfast. All proceeds from the event will got to the Discover Your Forest initiative. $75. 21 and over. 

Sunriver Art Auction

SUN – Sample wine, hors d’oeuvres and take home a piece of fine art at this fundraising event. Local artists are donating pieces for a silent auction event, benefiting the Sunriver Women’s Club philanthropy program. Cafe Sintra. $35. 21 and over.

NWX Saturday Farmer’s Market

SAT – Northwest Crossing hosts their Saturday Market featuring a bounty of seasonal produce, locally-raised meats, fresh eggs and cheese, handmade items, beautiful flowers, tasty morsels, a variety of local vendors, and an eclectic mix of live music.

Live Music

FRI - 9p - SEPIATONIC W/ SPECIAL GUESTS @ Volcanic Theatre Pub - Portland’s own Sepiatonic is bringing its special dance party to Bend! With live horns, beats that combine house, bass, and swing tunes, the night is sure to be rockin’.

SAT - Gary Clark Jr - Texas Bluesman brings his funky fuzztone to Les Schwab this Saturday evening in one of the final concerts in the summer series. An electric guitar virtuoso, Clark has surprising range, moving easily from Delta blues to Motown style funk with hints of hip hop. This a must-see show for guitar lovers and could be one of the sleeper hits of what was already a great 2019 line-up at LSA. $39.50 plus fees.

SAT – GROCERY OUTLET BREWFEST FEAT. WATKINS GLEN - Head to Grocery Outlet for a family-friendly event with food and beer samples, pumpkin painting for kids and two sets of live music from Watkins Glen. This is going to be a super fun day! 2pm

Sisters Seed to Table Dinner

SAT– Join Sisters’ Seed to Table farm project for a locally-sourced dinner on the community farm. The multi-course dinner will feature vegetables grown on-site along with grass-fed beef from the nearby Splitting Acres ranch. The family-style meal will be prepared by Oregon Wild’s award-winning chef James Fink and served al fresco on the farm’s long table. The proceeds from the dinner support Seed to Table’s ongoing mission of providing families access to healthy, locally grown food. $65 Adults. $20 Eighteen and under.

Mt. Bachelor

FRI-SUN – Mt. Bachelor plays host to a full weekend of outdoor-inspired competition and education. The inaugural Outdoor City festival is a multi-sport celebration with an emphasis on camaraderie and skill development. A mix of clinics and competitions across several disciplines, including mountain biking, trail running and rock climbing are designed to get participants of all ages and skills involved. Free general admission. 10am - 5pm

ONGOING – The Mt. Bachelor Bike Park offers 13 miles of downhill trails and different options for various skill levels.
